Baslow Garden Society

Welcome to the Baslow Garden Society.

Established in 1976 the society holds monthly meetings or visits of interest to those with a love of gardening.

We meet on the third Thursday of the month (no meeting in December) at the Village Hall in Baslow and warmly welcome new members from Baslow and further afield to our meetings.

On our website (click on this LINK) you will be able to see our current programme, along with reports of some of our previous meetings and other local garden news. Meeting cover a wider range of topics from “How to help refugees in a desert feed themselves”, Using recycled materials in your garden, plant specific talks, vegetable growing and propagation.

During the pandemic we have kept going via Zoom, but meetings in the Hall have resumed. Programme Details are available on our website. Attend your first meeting free.

Baslow & Bubnell Parish Council serves the village of Baslow and the adjacent hamlet of Bubnell.

The Parish Council meets every two months at the Baslow Village Hall and members of the public are welcome to attend.

If members of the public wish to speak and address the councillors, this should be arranged with the Clerk to the Parish Council.
