Jon Rawlinson, the Peak District’s Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator, is delighted to report that on 18 August a successful Joint Nuisance and Crime Patrol took place.

With the support of the Peak District Neighbourhood Watch, Derbyshire Police Specials, Rural Crime and the SNT, small groups of young people were spotted near Ladybower Reservoir around 2am.

After a comprehensive search of those attending the rave, around 160 young people, details of the rave’s organisers were recorded and will be issued Community Protection Notices. During the search, the police recovered three stolen motorbikes.
