Finding a company that you can trust to do some work for you can be a bit daunting. How can you be sure that you won’t get ripped off? What if things go wrong? How do you choose between lots of different companies? These questions were the driving force behind Derbyshire County Council setting up the Trusted Trader scheme, which helps local people find tradespeople and businesses that do a good job at a fair price and provide good customer service.

The scheme was established in 2008 and its popularity has gone from strength-to-strength. Today there are nearly 17,000 searches each month on the Trusted Trader website by people looking for reliable companies to use. Feedback has been consistently positive and recently 94% of 16,000 people (who had used a Trusted Trader) stated they were very satisfied with the service they received.

To find out more about all aspects of the Trusted Trader scheme visit their website or call: 01629 536148.

Enquiries are equally welcome from individuals and businesses interested in joining the scheme, with membership fees between £70-100 per year.
