Baslow & Bubnell Parish Council supports the local district and county councils to deliver emergency provisions, as required.

Derbyshire Prepared is a new online resource designed to keep everyone informed and prepared for possible emergencies.

Their aim is to make arrangements to protect people and the environment in Derbyshire and reduce the impact on them from an emergency.

They have emergency plans in place to cope with the most likely risks to affect Derbyshire and have joint training exercises throughout the year to make sure they’re ready.

The Derbyshire Local Resilience Forum is responsible for the overall direction and policies of emergency planning, to ensure the effective delivery of our duties under the Civil Contingencies Act.
