The Parish Council wanted to recognise all the hard work done by so many villagers to help our parishioners through the periods of lockdown.
Many went the extra mile to improve our safety and quality of life and for this the Councillors are eternally grateful.
They couldn’t name every individual, so they have nominated groups and businesses whom they felt met this criteria. No doubt there are those who helped others who are not part of one of these groups, and the Councillors would like to convey their sincere thanks to everyone.
The gold stars of recognition have been attached to the Christmas tree on the village green at Nether End.
It goes to show that there is such a thing as society and community cohesion, which the people of this village continue to demonstrate.
