New Councillor
The Parish Council is delighted to welcome John Hopkins to the Parish Council as a new Councillor. John was co-opted at July’s meeting. There is still one vacancy to fill and it is hoped to co-opt this position in the autumn.
Keep Baslow Beautiful
Due to the recent wet weather, Derbyshire Dales District Council has not been able to spray weeds in the village. They have tackled some by hand. If anyone would like to assist in clearing any pavement or kerb weeds near you, please do. Similarly, the District Council cannot clear weeds in entrances to property, please do keep your areas weed free.
Thank you to the volunteers who came and cleaned the benches on the village green last month.
