Leaders’ statement – Gritstone Road decision
STATEMENT from District Council Leader Councillor Steve Flitter and Deputy Leaders Councillors Bob Butcher and Neil Buttle:
“Having had time now to digest the Planning Inspector’s judgement in full, the Leadership of Derbyshire Dales District Council want to add their voices to the praise already given by individual Matlock ward councillors to the excellent work of the Wolds Action Group in defending the position of our own Planning Committee to refuse the plan for more than 400 new homes in and around Matlock’s Gritstone Road.
