During the October half term in Baslow, a fine art exhibition will take place in the village hall, featuring ten artists whose work has been carefully selected from some of the best in the region, with 20% of all proceeds going to support the essential work of the Samaritans.
This exhibition was instigated by Isabel Blincow MBE, a Samaritans volunteer, whose services to the charity and the art world were recognised in the annual honours awards.
The annual exhibition was launched in 1996 and has become a popular event for the residents across the Peak District and tourists, alike.
’10 Artists’ exhibition will take place at Baslow Village Hall, form 10am until 5pm; the exhibition opens at 10am on 25 October and closes at 4pm on 26 October.
Refreshments will be available.
