The UK digital landline switchover is the nationwide retirement of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
Every traditional copper landline must be replaced with a digital home phone or other landline replacement that runs over broadband by January 2027.
What this means is that if you still rely on a traditional phone line you will need to have a digital telephone service in place before the deadline.
