WHEN: 6th May 2024 to 29th May 2024. WHERE: Close the whole length of Chatsworth footpath No.1 and the section of Baslow & Bubnell footpath No.23 between its junction with Chatsworth No.1 and Baslow & Bubnell No.25. Close Edensor public footpath No.4 from where it meets Chatsworth No.1 to Edensor No.10. REASON: To facilitate public safety during the movement of vehicles and animals during the setup and derig of the horse trials event. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the south, follow the signposted route along the track through the Deer Park which deviates off north-eastwards after 490 metres towards the river. Follow the path alongside the river. Cross the footbridge to join the Caravan Park driveway and follow the signposted route to join Baslow & Bubnell public footpath No.23. Vice Versa from the north. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
