Waste collections update

Unfortunately Covid staff absences mean some delays and disruptions to waste and recycling collections are inevitable in the coming days.

Serco reports that three drivers are currently isolating and it is possible this number will rise.

Recycling crews that are operating are also experiencing large volumes, with trucks filling to capacity before some rounds are completed. Where this is happening crews are aiming to return the following morning.

DDDC will publish catch-up information when they know more from Serco.
