Bakewell & District U3A (University of the Third Age) is running an event to make Derbyshire Dales residents aware of the risks to their privacy and security, when using their computers, tablets and mobile phones to access the internet and emails.
The event will take place on Friday 10 November at the Medway Centre, Bakewell, at 2.00 pm
The main speakers will be from the police and Nationwide Building Society; both having wide ranging experience of the risks associated with online fraud and resulting effects on privacy and financial security. They will explain the actions everyone can take to minimise, and in most cases, prevent the risks of online fraud.
They will also be willing to answer questions from the audience.
Tickets are £2.00 each and available from the following outlets in Bakewell:
- The Medway Centre
- Maxwell’s Bookshop
