Baslow Bird Walks

Would you like to recognise a birdsong when you hear it. Or identify a bird, or understand its behaviour and how it lives?

And, would you like to know more about the birds living around our village?

On behalf of Baslow Environment Group, Ian Johnston will be running two birds walks to introduce you to the undiscovered world of our feathered friends. Ian has a huge knowledge of birds and their lives and is fascinating on the subject.

You can do either an evening or a morning walk, which is when the birds are most active.

Evening walk: Sunday 19 May at 8.00pm


Morning walk: Monday 20 May at 8.00am


Each walk will start from St Anne’s porch and will last about an hour.
