Baslow footpath closures

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 4 January 2024 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act.

1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close the stone slab crossing point over Bar Brook footpath no. 14 and to close the pedestrian footbridge over Bar Brook, Baslow & Bubnell footpath No.15, has been further continued.

Alternative route: No Alternative Route Is Recommended

The Public Footpath will be closed until 10 March 2025 for footpath 14 and 1 April 2025 for footpath 15 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety due to flood damage.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the closure.
