Plant Sale 4 May

Baslow Garden Society is holding a plant sale on Saturday 4 May on the village green in Baslow, from 10am to 1pm.

There will be a range of fabulous plants from local gardeners, Millthorpe Nursery and Bradders Nursery, along with garden structures, obelisks and decorative pieces.

Please bear the sale in mind, if you’re doing your spring plant divisions or sowing seeds.

Baslow & Bubnell Parish Council serves the village of Baslow and the adjacent hamlet of Bubnell.

Close Edensor public footpath No.4 from where it meets Chatsworth No.1 to Edensor No.10. REASON: To facilitate public safety during the movement of vehicles and animals during the setup and derig of the horse trials event. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the south, follow the signposted route along the track through the Deer Park which deviates off north-eastwards after 490 metres towards the river. Follow the path alongside the river. Cross the footbridge to join the Caravan Park driveway and follow the signposted route to join Baslow & Bubnell public footpath No.23. Vice Versa from the north. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
