The Baslow Environmental Group’s sub-group on birds is meeting on Wednesday 7 February at 7.30pm in The Devonshire Arms, Baslow.
If you took part in the RSPB’s recent Big Garden Birdwatch weekend (26/28 January) then the group would like you to share your results.
The main aim of the sub-group is to help the village’s diminishing swift and sparrow populations. So, if you have a love for birds, want to learn more about them, or can share your expertise please join the group so that we can really make a difference in Baslow.
By the way, there are still many waxwings on the trail by Hassop Station; so close by and a wonderful sight, as they are feasting on apples stuck on branches there.
